How long do PivotU classes last?
PivotU offers classes with the primary goal being to fit the needs and schedules of our students. Classes may be half a day, full day, or multi-day. If you don’t see something that fits your needs and schedule, Make a request! ›

Can I attend just one session in a series?
Yes! We offer the option to register only for particular sessions of interest even if they are part of an ongoing course or series. Contact us directly to ask about this option.

Do you offer any online courses?

Can you do training at my company location?
Yes! Nearly any course we offer can be brought to your company location and customized to your employees’ needs. Learn more about On-site courses ›

Can I request a training that is not on your schedule?
Yes! If you are interested in our classes but don’t see something that fits your needs and your schedule, we want to hear from you! Make a request! ›

Do you provide accommodations for individuals with disabilities?

Registration & Payment

How do I register?
In the course list click on Register Now or in the course detail page click the Register button. This will take you to RegOnline.com where you will be able to submit payment in a secure environment.  If you have any trouble registering, please contact us! 

What types of payment do you accept?
Our registration system, RegOnline.com, accepts all types of credit cards. You will also have the option during checkout to pay by PayPal or by check.

Can you generate an invoice for my employer?
Absolutely. When you register, select the option to pay by check. Then contact us and we will provide an invoice with our tax ID number.

Do you provide any discounts for registering multiple people from one organization?
Yes, for most of our courses a discount is available when you register 3 or more people from the same organization. (We also offer onsite classes scheduled and customized specifically for your organization. More about On-site courses .) Discounts if available are listed in the course description and will be automatically applied during the registration process when you register 3 or more people at the same time using the same payment method. If you register separately, please contact us for a refund of the discounted amount.

What is the PivotU Cancellation & Refund Policy?

  • If you are unable to attend and must cancel, you may substitute someone else from your organization to attend at any time. Because we customize the course for the specific people attending, please contact us as soon as possible to give notice of a substitution.
  • If you cancel at any time before the beginning of the class, we will be happy to provide credit towards a future class, minus a $25 cancellation fee if it is less than 10 days before the start of a class.
  • We are able to offer a full refund of the registration fee only if you cancel at least 10 days before the start of the class.

PivotU reserves the right to cancel a class due to inclement weather or insufficient enrollment. Please make sure that your out-of-town travel arrangements are refundable or changeable as unfortunately we cannot be responsible for those costs. If we do cancel a class for any reason you will be offered a choice of a full refund or a credit of the full course fee to be used towards a future class.

What to expect

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
Yes! Certificates will be given to all who attend.

Do you offer HRCI credits?
Many of our classes are eligible for HRCI recertification credits. Please contact us to confirm the status of a particular course.

Where do classes take place?
We offer three options for location.

  1. On-site: We can come to you at your location.
  2. Our site: PivotU classroom courses are held in Northwest Austin on the premises of St. Edwards University Professional Education Center, however please call 512.284.8398 or email info@pivotu.com if you need to reach PivotU staff.
    Virtual: Our virtual classes area available at your desk or on the go.

Where do I park?
Parking at St. Edwards University Professional Development Center is free and abundant. Follow signs for the Echelon III building.

Will meals be provided?
Our goal is to keep you primed for learning.

  • To use our time together most efficiently, many of our full-day courses include lunch–check the course details to confirm.
  • All courses include healthy and delicious snacks, water and coffee.
  • There are plentiful nearby restaurant options for before or after your class.

We also do our best to accommodate your dietary needs so please contact us with special requests.

What should I wear?
Business casual is appropriate. Bring a jacket or wrap if you are sensitive to the cold.
